"5 Ways to make Money Online"

1. Information Marketing

This is so far the most lucrative job in the internet. It is very easy to start and requires no technical skill  whatsoever.

Information marketing simply refers to marketing/selling of information materials. By Information materials I mean digital products such as ebooks and audio books.

This is highly rewarding because everyone is constantly seeking knowledge and everyone has some knowledge or skill to offer at any time.

What are you good at? What's your strength? Find it, put it down in form of an eBook and sell it. You can hire an expert to help you create an eBook or do it yourself and save cost.

 What's an EBook?

Like the name, it's an electronic book. A book in digital formats as PDF (portable document files) and ePUB (electronic Publication file).

In my subsequent post I will teach you how to create an ebook and where you can sell it.

2. Fiverr

The "Gig hub". Fiverr is a website for freelancers. It is a website where you get hired for $5 and above to carryout task based on your " Gig". In fiver you get paid for tasks such as writing articles, logo designs, video editing, graphic designs, online data search and much more.

I will advise you choose your gig (skill) and work on it, MASTER it, before you sign up for fiverr. Fiverr is a highly competitive market. Newbies get frustrated-out of the competition in a long run. But you can make it if you know your way around.

3. Affiliate Marketing

Thousands of Internet users have made their fare share off this program. It is a program from which you can make more money than you are currently being paid, if you play by the rules.

Affiliate marketing is a program that pays commissions upon referring a buyer of a product online. The animation below explains better.

There so many affiliate marketing networks today anyone can join and start earning outrightly whether you own a website/blog or not.

Affiliate marketing networks to sign up for in Nigeria are Jumia, Konga, Jiji, Dealdey. Other international affiliate marketing networks are:
1. SFImg
2. Amazon
3. EBay affiliates
4. Rakuten
5. Commission junction
6. Linkshare affiliates

Disclaimer: this networks have been tested by me. I have earned my share of bucks from them.

Note: When signing up for any affiliate marketing network or anything online, please read their terms and conditions and FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) to understand how they function. Also look out for payment options and payout threshold.

4. Blogs And Websites
When you talk blogs in Nigeria, you are invariably referring to Linda Ikeji. She is not the only Nigerian blogger amassing wealth from the hub, there are the likes of Uche Pedro of BellaNiaja, Jide Ogusanya of Ogbongeblog, Ovie O. of NotjustOk and many others (I hope you make the list...).

Blogs and websites are the highest paying platforms in the internet today.

You can start a blog today for FREE on blogger.com or  WordPress.com and monetize it to make money. It is important to say that to succeed as a blogger, you need to base your blog on a 'niche' that meets your interest and passion.

What is a niche?

When we talk about niche in the internet we refer to the topic or category a website or blog is centered on. For example, Facebook.com is a website in the "social network" niche, Linda ikeji's blog is in the "online news and celebrity gossip" niche as well as TMZ and others. Goal.com is a "Sports" website. Naira Brainer is a blog in the "Internet marketing" niche. Get it?

There are several ways to monetize (make money) with a blog or websites but basically, there are two ways:
1. Run ads- sign up for ad networks that pay you to advertise products and contents with your blog. Google Adsense is one of such networks with high revenue others are; content ad, taboola, our brains, info links, chitika and more.
- You can also sell ad spaces directly to advertisers, thus eliminating middle men.

2. Affiliate Marketing: set up affiliate links and banners in your blog/website. If a visitor clicks through and buys a product, you get paid.

5. Mini Importation Business

Very very very lucrative business to engage in. Anyone can do this business. No special skill is required and with capital as low as N15,000 you can start right away.

How it works?

Order for products from e-commerce stores online such as Amazon, eBay, aliexpress and alibaba. Then sell them on arrival.

For a start, order for products with high purchase rates such as wrist watches, belts, cosmetics and jewelries. You can sell them via Facebook, OLX.com.ng and by word of mouth.
